The State of The Spoils

The State of The Spoils

Dear Spoilers the World Over,
I am writing this post today to give you a much deserved update on the state of things as they currently stand, and a sneak peak of where The Spoils is headed as we wrap up 2015 and head into 2016.

Home from Gen Con

Home from Gen Con

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone that came out to our Gen Con booth and played in our events. Whether you played in one or many, were familiar with The Spoils or brand new, we couldn’t have been more excited to have you! Thanks to you, we had our most successful Gen Con to date with record attendance and sales numbers. Truly outstanding. 2015 has been a revolutionary year for The Spoils Card Game, and we’re no where near done yet. We look forward to Seed Saga releasing on August 22nd (tournament legal on September 1st), Dragon Con on September 4-7, the roll out of our new Victors Organized Play program in the fall, and another new set in Q4. We’re also hard at work on new offerings for 2016 which we think you’re going to be super excited about. And what would a post-Gen Con piece be without congratulating our new World Champion? Hampus Eriksson from Sweden overwhelmed the competition to take home the title of King of Lugubria, Master of 1337, Warden of Acrolos, Clockman and Direstock, First of His or Her Name, Champion of the World. He, along with the winners of the Gen Con Sealed and Constructed Championships, will each have their likeness on a card or design one in an upcoming set, along with cash prizes, booster boxes, and exclusive high level tournament promos. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself. In conclusion, we want to extend a warm welcome and a hearty thank you to everyone that made this Gen Con so memorable. Thank you for your support. Thank you...
