I am back with the second part about my experience at Gencon. This part will cover the limited tournaments.
Gencon featured two big limited events. The first event of Gencon was the Sealed Championships featuring the new set, Seed Saga. This let us play with the set for the first time ever and we could obtain the card before release.
This is part 1 of my very late Gencon report. I will start by covering constructed and then in part 2 cover limited.
I will begin with an introduction to my deck and walk you through why I played it and my choices in the list.
Stalling at it’s finest. Before R&D dissolved the banned list and created the Current and Chronicles Format system, Monty was the main threat. Most of the playing field was playing greed, and you could guarantee he was in the deck.
This deck focuses on taking apart your opponent’s deck and utilizing their best cards. With only one character in your deck, your opponent will have to focus on protecting their own characters.
Stolen God, this looks scary! Seed Saga gave us back enough dragons to make a themed deck that works. You only need to touch one more Rage resource, in order to deploy any card in the deck.
